Hi, I’m Jenna Melissa — the girl behind the camera at Wild Ivy Photography.

 

Based in beautiful Plymouth, I’m a country girl at heart who truly appreciates the simple things in life. When I’m not exploring the stunning coastlines of Devon and Cornwall, paddleboarding on the water, or wandering through the countryside, you’ll usually find me capturing heartfelt moments for families, couples, and growing families.

 

Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. What began as a childhood fascination with a camera soon grew into a lifelong passion and creative escape — one that eventually became my dream career.

 

Photography, travel, and making memories with my family are some of my greatest loves, and I feel incredibly grateful to turn that passion into something meaningful for others.

 

My photography style is bright, natural, airy, and full of genuine emotion. I’m passionate about capturing real connections — the laughter, the love, the quiet in-between moments that often become the most treasured memories. Whether we’re in the woods, by the sea, or surrounded by countryside views, I want every session to feel relaxed, enjoyable, and more like an experience than simply posing for photographs.

 

As a mum myself, I truly understand just how precious it is to freeze moments in time with the people you love most.

Family life is beautifully imperfect, and I absolutely adore capturing the magic that exists within the chaos of little ones, the cuddles, the giggles, and all the little details that can so easily pass us by. Life moves quickly, and I believe in documenting it honestly and beautifully — exactly as it is right now.

 

Alongside family and maternity photography, I also photograph a handful of weddings each year. I love working with couples who are drawn to candid, natural storytelling photography and want their day captured in an authentic and non-intrusive way — while still preserving all the beautiful details and meaningful moments that make your wedding uniquely yours.
